Door locks

Hi all new to this posting lark so please excuse me
Had a problem with drivers door lock would not always open from inside bought n now fitted replacement from on line auction site quality looks ok time will tell lol
Now have problem with rear passenger door dash says door open but not
I'm thinking this is a micro switch
Only way to lock car is open drivers window use dash button then use remote to close window
Now for my question
I have the old lock from drivers door thought I could use this so plugged in to rear door locked door manually
But still saying door open
Is my therory wrong on this or is fault elsewhere
Just wanted to do this so wife could lock the car normally without horn going off until new lock arrives n I have time to fit
Now not sure if lock the problem any help greatfully accepted
Sorry for long post thanks paul

Hi all
Just to update problem now fixed turned out to be one of the pins in the plug that connects door loom to main loom in the pillar between doors just bypassed the dodgy pin now works think it was the earthing wire
I found out a couple things trying to sort this that might help somebody else
Door modules are linked on each side back to front the front one then goes to can bus(main computer)
So if you have a fault on rear door n change that one for the one in opposite door and fault still there could be front door that side is faulty
The two rear door modules are the same and can be swapped to check for fault
The front modules are different
Disconnect battery before unplugging/conecting
As long as you get replacements with same numbers on won’t need coding
I swapped my back ones over n fitted used one to front door with no problems
Hope this helps someone
I don’t think you have to replace in pairs as dealers say just faulty one
