What outcome are you wanting? You won’t be able to reject the car obviously and it is running ok so no problems there. How do LR define a full service history? Does it have to be a service every year or x amount of miles or does it just have to be serviced at LR dealers as and when it is actually serviced? LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby

I just feel that it should have been serviced in line with their own service recommendations. Would it have stopped me from buying it had I know that the history had a gap? I doubt it, but I would have a bargaining tool for a bit more off the price.

Maybe best approach would be to have a rant and negotiate a discount off your next service as a goodwill gesture etc. LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby

Think yourself lucky... my local LR dealership let me drive out the door in used approved Evoque that had been in a fairly major accident and badly repaired (damaged underside and bodywork, badly misaligned panels, bad respray, damaged transfer box and gearbox)...... and then after sorting a swap out deal let me drive out the door without an MOT in my current FL2.

Use an independent local mechanic. It is only a car! Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

To be Devil's advocate it said a full service history, not a history of full servicing.
