2007 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Auto Barolo Black

Radio not turning off when key removed

Hi Guys, recently bought my wife a fl2 GS TD4. Its got the standard base model radio in it. The radio can only be turned on or off with the push button on the front. If you remove the key everything shuts down but the radio stays on. Have disconnected the battery for 20min and checked the plugs on the back but it seems totally independant from the vehicle.

I want that feature !!!!

cant stand radio only lasting a few minutes once the engine is turned off. Even after pushing it back on.
