saw three D5's on the M1 today. I really think the rear number plate should be a 'square' ... not a 'regular' plate. this would maintain the D1/200/300 and the D2 /D3 and D4.

With air suspension, full time four wheel drive, the addition of rock crawl, centre and (on V8’s) rear locking diffs and selectable low range, I’d say it’s nun too shabby off road thanks! Meanwhile, even the slightly silly 21 and especially silly 22” rims can still be swapped out for a standard wheels that will take 55 (or, in some cases, 60) section tyres. It’s really only the cost and the physical size of it that goes against it, but then virtually all of the green lanes around here can only be tackled by a dirt bike, or Suzuki 4x4’s (at a push), anyway! |

The drop down tailgate glass was handy. I still use mine if needing timber and recently in summer I fitted some posts. Saved hitching a trailer up. But come winter I was always/still am paranoid opening the boot as the glass lower down a few cm’s. I avoid opening the tailgate at all costs the frost is crazy up here MY14 Kahn Converted Dynamic - Fuji White Ebony/Pimento Interior

Forget the load carrying feature, I found that the greatest benefit of having the drop down window was when carrying my two flatulent teenage sons around. You could change the air in seconds. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto
