United Kingdom 2013 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Orkney Grey
Clicking noise when pulling away in second gear

Has anyone ever had an issue with a strange 'clicking' or 'clunking' sound when pulling away in second gear? I have a 2013 FL2 GS manual. This sound seems to have developed over the last few months, or maybe I've only just noticed it? It only happens once after starting the car. Basically the sequence is:-

1. start car.
2. pull away in 1st.
3. change up into 2nd.
4. Click or soft clunk sound from rear of car
5. Car then drives normally and click not heard again until turned off then started again.

Very odd.

I'm not sure if this is normal or not.

Any help much appreciated.
