Hi all,ref above.my 2010 manual lost some power today for a short while,it did this about a month ago.i can be driving normally.(aka Captain slow)when I put my foot down to pass or go up a hill, there is a lack of grunt, the car still responds but slowly, also the change up arrow comes on at around 1500/1800 rpm as I am trying to accelerate,I get up to cruising speed and it seems fine but no hard acceleration when needed.

ive heard of a yaw sensor, thats a sensor that measures the stability of the vehicle, causing all sorts of power loss symptons,ie it thinks the vehicle is about to roll,or slide and it will cut power, the one I know about put the Volvo in limp mode only when cold,it took for ever to find after various parts were replaced.but once the sensor was tested it was obviously giving the ecu wrong info.but don't ask me where it is! |
