United Kingdom 2008 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Manual Santorini Black
Finally have a Freelander

Hi All,

Finally got a Freelander, and my first Land Rover, 3 weeks ago.

Already done 2 weeks in Cornwall with it and got to say I am really pleased. 6 1/2 hrs drive each way and no aches and pains at all. Got out feeling as fresh as when I got in it.

Surprised at how well it goes as well for what is a fairly heavy brick going down the road as fairly economical as well.

Pics will follow when I get chance,

Pezzer

United Kingdom

Welcome
They are great vehicles. Taken mine all over europe and used it for everything. Last weekend it was carrying boxes about 550kg worth over a couple of fields.

On the way back it went to the supermarket!

Awesome beasts, can go nearly anywhere and do pretty much anything you want

They are even more comfortable loaded. Even my petrol engine barely noticed 180 x 3.2 kg roof tiles in the car! Did 4 return trips across Sydney. 120, 150, 180 & another 150 tiles a month later. We had a storm and needed to find secondhand tiles as it has been a decade since these were made. Now we have plenty of spares!

The supplier could not believe that not 1 tile broke in transport! Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!
