it is a 2012 freelander 2 GS, the reversing sensors having been working fine, but today when you engage reverse you get a continuous beeping sound, has any body got any ideas, the sensors in bumper are clean

They are prone to it when they get wet quick dry and all should be fine

If the drying doesn't stop the continuous beep, underneath the bumper on the right hand side is where the sensor loom and the main loom plug together. It should not be possible for damp to get in there and short anything but ....
