Scotland 2013 Freelander 2 SD4 HSE Lux Auto Firenze Red
Windscreen replaced

Just had my windcreen replaced due to large brick at 50mph, now my rain sensor wipers dont work. Not a genuine part, they are coming back out Thursday to fit a different screen.

A reset would fix this issue, would it?



Its a MY13 HSE

Did they put silicone gel*, between the sensor and the screen? It's something I saw national windscreens do when they replaced mine, (*not sure what gel is made of) Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Well. Kind of an update, seems like it's sorted it's self out. Auto lights and wipers working ok now.


And yep, they did rub a bit of silicone i between the Sensor and screen.

Had to have mine replaced about a month ago by Autoglass but no issues with the rain sensors Thumbs Up 32 years / 25 Vehicles
