Don't forget your hands have grown bigger since you were a kid so the wagon wheel will look smaller |

I used to get sixpence to get a Waggon Wheel and a cup of oxtail soup after I'd been swimming . This was at Joseph Street Baths in Hunslet , circa 1965. I can catagoricaly state that Waggon Wheels were massive I reckon at least 5"/ 125 mm in diameter. They have definitely been reduced |

Like you Dorsetfreelander I remember that wagon wheels were packed singly and quite thick. Used to go into a cafe on the way to Primary school as a treat. This was back in the late 50's when kids could go to school without being chaperoned by their parents and shock horror had to travel on the tube. |

If you thinks that's bad, have you bought a curly wurly recently? It's microscopic! I just hope they leave Tunnocks Caramel wafers alone.

I was barred from our local baths for peeing in the pool - mind you it was from the high board |
