Does anyone know if the wiring is in place for these on models that don't have them fitted as standard (2013 TD4 XS) and is it the sort of thing that needs to be coded to work or can it work as a standalone.

These mirrors do not need coding, they work standalone.

I read that the Range Rover Sport mirros are the same, can anyone confirm that for the 2013 FL2? |

Don't think there is any difference between model years for the FL2 rear view mirror so any should fit (IIRC the RRS one will be a direct swap as will certain Ford/Volvo ones)

Managed to snag myself an original FL2 chromatic mirror for £110.

Shame I have one for sale for £15 and nobody's taken it,my 13model year XS did not have the wiring but a live, earth and a wire to the reverse switch is all that's needed. |
