England 2013 Freelander 2 TD4 XS Manual Orkney Grey
Chipex paint system

Has anybody used the Chipex paint system. I've just looked the promotional video on their website and it looks OK. But a standard touch up paint and a bit of elbow grease with t-cut and a decent polish might have the same results.

I just want to touch up a few stone chips on the front of the vehicle......

Any experience out there ?

United Kingdom 2013 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Firenze Red

You never want to T cut a car you intend to keep as its an aggressive treatment, works but takes off far too much paint. Used to give that look at me look easily but not a lot left of good paint in years to come.

Wash muck off, use touch in pencil followed with the clear lacquer pencil as per instructions in kit, let it harden off and use a good wax polish at some stage. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years
