Oil service light

Evening all,
We have just had the car serviced, the garage an independent was not able to switch the oil service light off, any advise or can you buy something to do it yourself?

Thanks for the help, unfortunately I have tried all these methods and still have the "visit dealer oil service message" does anyone know a garage in the Edinburgh area (Pathhead) that can sort this apart from Landrover, not wanting to service it again as just done?
Thanks Regards
J Jenkinson

Brazilian tip:

1. Turn on the ignition switch
2. Open the hood
3. Open the driver door
4. Note: Manintenance resetting information is not displayed on the instrument cluster. Fully depress the accelerator pedal, and brake pedal, and hold for 60s.
5. Turn off the ignition switch
6. Turn on the igntion switch and check whether manintenance information is cleared
7. If maintenance information is not cleared, repeat the procedure. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

I do my own servicing and let my indie do the oil and filter with the gear I provide (no receipt asked for), not a perfect solution but it gets the messages cleared. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

All these quirky fixes are OK until you get to year MY13, then its dealer or indie or buy a computer thingy. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years
