I had an accident with front damage, the dealer worked on the car and return it with
the normal grill not the 60 year edition, what wrong with them? they thought i will not notice?

In their defence you have a bodykit fitted and the grille they fitted comes as part of the kit. However when they fitted the new bumper it would have come with the original grille and they would have to saw it out to fit the mesh type one that you have ended up with so they really should have asked if you wanted to keep your original look or go for the mesh grille.

Personally the mesh type grille looks far nicer. Thumbs Up Now - 2017 BMW X3 M Sport Carbon Black
Gone - 2014 BMW X3 M Sport Space Grey, faultless!
Gone - 2011 Freelander 2 SD4 HSE Bali Blue with xenons
Gone - 2008 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Rimini Red with bodykit

This defence wont work as it is the 60 year edition model 2008
And it came with body kit from the factory.

When i picked up the car today no one was there except the front desk girls so i could not make a complaint.

Personally i like the 60 year edition grill but what Censored me off is that
They thoght they could just install diffrent parts and i will not notice, they had the car for on month.

I had that grill on mine and when I had an accident it was replaced with the standard grill as that one apparently is no longer available.

There may be a clause in your insurance that states the repairer can use particular parts, for example non-Land Rover, or what is currently available. Everyone can spread it - Anyone can catch it. Stay home - the life you save can be your own!

This is true if it was my insurence, then i get what i paid for
But the accident is not my fault and paid by the other side.
In this case they most to bring the car to original state and if not possible
Compansate with moeny.

In any case a dealer that take is work seriously whould have called
And not hope i will not notice.

The car should really have been returned to its factory spec, which in your case is a complete HST bodykit including the mesh grill.

If it was fitted after market then it may be different story.

The dealer is wrong to have fitted a standard grill and you should reject it or (as you've already said) get a refund to replace the grill elsewhere. However this then may invalidate any warranty on the parts replaced by the dealer.

Here is the short list of what i found so far after the car was one month at the dealer
1. different grill from original
2. internal frame/bars/mounts that were replaced with new ones were painted with the same outside color and not the matt gray as it should (probably saved them money)
3. the wheels were mounted back not in the same position as they were (i always switch between rear and front to keep the wear even so i know)
4. stain of color on the leader seat (was removable in the end)
5. the all motor area have paint flakes since he did not cover the motor correctly while sparing paint.
6. one fog light have some free play (will open it today to see what they done there)
7. deep scratch on the air box (no one see what is under the hood but still...)

Bottom line a very bad service for 12000 euro work.

Got to agree with that, the paint flakes can be cleaned off the scratch on the air cover would annoy me too,the fog light is unacceptable they just don't take as much care as we do. Mine went for service and test today I've spent three days washing polishing and waxing dropped car off said definitely no wash, later got told cars all done just getting it washed for you Rolling Eyes
