As LR nuts said, Commercials were 3dr only and would have had a rear parcel guard on the tailgate window and a wire mesh bulkhead behind the main seats. Also came with a wood floor and optional full rubber mat. The eBay ad doesn't mention it ..... its a Td4.

Seems to be an import/exmod or something similar as its only UK registered in May 2017. Not in itself a bad thing as it means that it will be registered as PLG with relatively cheap road tax. Not as cheap as a properly registered commercial Freelander but certainly cheaper than the £520 rate that the late registered Freelander 1 owners have to pay! Ouch! |

Thanks for the replies . Yes, I know about the f1 commercial all being 3 door, hence why this was bit unusual. However you can never rule anything out where Land Rovers are concerned. Like the batch of Lightweights (Airportables) that had civvy rear crossmembers from the factory. |

Checked out that 07 Commercial. Its a IRL import hence the May 2107 age related plate.

Cheers mate. That puts things to bed. ISTR that in NI they used to buy a lot of Disco commercials and convert them to passenger vehicles . It was a way of getting around the high cost of buying an ordinary Disco as the commercials cost thousands less |

If you look at the current line-up of the range ......... which would you make into a commercial ?

Just a thought.... I presume TATA are still producing FL2s in India. Is it feasible to import a “commercial” from there?
