Poor Fuel Economy following new Central Junction Box

Hi, Just had some work done under Warranty two weeks ago. I was getting two and four beeps from the alarm when unlocking the car. Went into Westover Landrover and they diagnosed a faulty Central Junction Box which they renewed.
Prior to it being done I was getting 40 to 41 mpg on duel carriageway and motorway runs all the time, but since having the work carried out cant get it above 32mpg. Going to speak to Westover Landrover today about it, but has anyone else had problems with fuel economy after having electrical work carried out. Wondered if maybe it needs software updated after maybe corrupting already installed software with disconnecting electrics to do the work?

Is the economy actually worse, or is the car just telling you it is? I.e. are you actually using more fuel, or is the readout simply different from that with the old CJB? It could just be that the CJB needs to build up some history in order to give more accurate figures and hasn't yet done that.

Not sure whether I am actually putting more fuel in, I was just going by the average fuel readout. I reset Trip A last week and have driven about 600 miles since the new CJB was fitted. FL2 MY2008 TD4 HSE Auto Rimini Red ... Gone

I hadn't reset for a few months prior to it going into the dealership. I phoned the dealership this morning and I have to take it in on Monday morning and they are going to test drive it. They still say changing the CJB shouldn't cause poor fuel economy. FL2 MY2008 TD4 HSE Auto Rimini Red ... Gone

Not such a big change as you are seeing but my car went from 31mpg to 36mpg after a recent battery change. For me it's just the readout that is different, I do not see a change in the distance I can drive after filling up. The last reset I did was at least 6 months ago.
