Removal of xenon lights.

I have a 15my SE Tech, which I have fitted a set of xenon lights from a 13my. The lights had to be coded as my car was running halogen headlamps. I will be selling the car in the near future and will be returning it to correct spec, ie black reflector lights, rather than white.

Do I need to have the car coded back to halogen, or will they just plug in and work? Not being electrical orientated, will the car be giving an extra oomph to get the lights fired up before they settle, therefore blowing bulbs left right and centre.

Thanks.

Gav.

Thanks for the replies gents. I guess I'll be leaving them in as long as possible then before the car goes, which means my drive home in the evening is easier as I can see well.

As LR Nut says, they are very good. Signature strips are smart looking as well.

You got an alert set on Ebay? Some came up for £300 the other week.
