I don't believe Land Rover ever did a black edition of the FL2 (other than the 2013> white edition and black edition which were based on the S spec model)

Wasnt there a proper black or white edition FL2? I seem to recall something I saw in a dealers showroom a few years back?

There was a Black edition and a White edition from factory in 2013, based on the S spec. Really just white or black paint with rear privacy glass. |

The thing is the interior has the same finish to some parts too and it has leather seats where the black and white spec was cloth. All very confusing to me. The interior looks factory fitted to me but the trim could be aftermarket.

Hi Jerry, as stated before this is a non standard Land Rover production, it is the result of a previous owner modifying parts to reflect their own taste. The carbon fibre effect parts have been dipped to provide the effect and this can be done on almost any surface, interior trim is often modified in this way. The seats you have are not ones I have seen before, these too may have been re-trimmed at some point in their life. Probably the best path for you is to get a copy of the original build sheet, this way you can compare how it left the factory and how it is now. |
