Rear parking sensors

2007.. Had the radio replaced with a JVC DD head unit. The dude that fitted it reckons once you've a camera the sensors don't work, is this the case cos they were bloody useful, cheers

England 2013 Freelander 2 SD4 HSE Auto Santorini Black

I can confirm that on the MY10 one that I had with a reversing camera the sensors worked as well. MY13 Santorini Black SD4 HSE

I replaced my head unit from standard to a 2Din Sony and the standard has the bits for the reversing sensors, so you remove the radio- the sensor goes. Nothing to do with camera its just the radio change. You can get modules that piggy-back onto the harness that connects the after market radio to the LR harness so the reversing sensors will work again.

Netherlands 2012 Freelander 2 TD4 Sport Auto Barolo Black

Maybe this will work:
https://incartec.co.uk/Pages/Product.aspx?P=4572
They write it is compatible with Landrover.

They also have kits for a Freelander 2:
https://incartec.co.uk/Pages/Product.aspx?P=4906
https://incartec.co.uk/Pages/Product.aspx?P=4908
but this is probably more than you need because your new radio is already installed.

On the pictures it looks like the first component is part of the other 2 kits but I do not know if it exactly the same. Better contact them first before ordering.
