What influence do you think that Victoria Beckham's association with the Evoque has had?
Extremely positive. I wouldn't have considered buying one if it wasn't for her.

Not good. It wouldn't put me off it, but it's a bit embarrasing

The PR disaster from hell. Even Julian Clary might have been a better choice ;)

Victoria Beckhams association with the Evoque?

I'd like to find out what effect VB has had on the reputation of the Evoque...

Please let me know what you think!

Couldn't care less, I look past all the hype on any launch, it doesn't aid me in making my mind up at all.

Someone posted elsewhere on this site that she was no longer involved. Judging by the 'Evoque Live' info their target market is young, funky and fashion. Not your typical LR/RR owner. Good luck to them!
JT (Old, Grumpy and height of fashion is a clean pair of jeans......) Upgraded to an ex demo, 7 mth old, Rimini Red/Ebony Napoli Auto HSE on 28th Jan 2011, added roof rails, mudflaps and side strips.
Gone - A great 57 Plate, Auto SE, Bought Feb 2009, Roof Rails and Mudflaps added on purchase. Blue colour, anything but drug dealer black.....

She is still involved, one of the designers from LR was telling a couple of us last week whilst he was looking for new designers. Apparently she's quite active and has some good ideas...no doubt the Evoque facelift will have swarovski crystals all over... Mine: 2012 Golf GTI Edition 35

Lets get this put to bed shall we? her involvement is in a special edition version of the Evoque NOT the whole range. No different to other fashion designers being involved in other special editions like the Ted Baker Mini etc.

I doubt (and certainly hope) that they let her near anything of any significance, but they do wheel her out for presentations, such as this one:

(around 4.05 minutes)

That's the association that I'm talking about.

Think the association between Mrs Beckam and the Evoque is a very suitable one. Shocked

She has been much weight reduced from the original.
She has been visually manipulated to look something she isn’t.
She maybe is better on all fours than many others out there, but so are cows.
She seems pretty hopeless on two.
She has been a 5 minute wonder.
She is Censored expensive to buy and keep in operation.
She also will probably depreciate considerably.
She does not have any class compared to many comparative models out there.
She cums in too many fancy colour combinations.
She is a vulgar alternative to many affordable tasty rides out there.
Last but not least – WE do not need her. Thumbs Up 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof.
Stornoway Grey with Ebony Black Pleather, Clear Indicators, Body Side Mouldings etc.

That is Sir a perspicuous observation, however one is intrigued as to by which methodology you employed to determine the spectrum of her virginal excretions - I quote "She cums in too many fancy colour combinations."
