Which 80w-90 Castrol diff oil?

Hi

There seems to be 2 variants of Castrol 80w-90 EPX oil (for the rear diff).

A) Listed as "differential oil" usually explicitly stating Freelander 2.

B) Listed as "Axle oil" and usually about a third of the price of A.

Is there any difference, does anyone know?

England 2010 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto Galway Green

Option 1 - Photo looks old and not on Castrol website.

Option 2 - Shown on Castrol website and provided in most of the FL2 rear diff kits on ebay. Also used this one myself. FL2 HSE Auto Galway Green
Evoque SD4 Auto Blue.
FL1 HSE TD4 Manual Black - Gone.
RR Classic V8 EFI - Gone

Ask millers oil tech dept what to use and save some brass. I did. Thumbs Up Opie do the oils and do a discount. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years
