To be fair, even though this advert has pretentious phrases that would make any reasonable person want to vomit (such as "she just fell in love with "the space""), isn't is targeting exactly the sort of customers that the Evoque convertible was designed for? Could they have hit the spot any better if she'd been the 23 year old owner of a West London hair salon, complete with a very rich daddy?!

I suppose that if you are selling an aspiration and a life style then this is what you do. I read the Financial Times and every fortnight a magazine for the ultra rich called "How to Spend it" comes out which is full of crap like this usually overpriced jewellery, clothing or watches. Having said that I haven't see a JLR advert in there, too cheap probably. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto
