[Wanted] Wanted. Nearside Door Mirror complete

Wanted: Complete Nearside Door Mirror for '57 plate SE. Electric, heated, folding, puddle light etc

In the unlikely event that anyone out there knows of one going (now't on "the bay").....?

Damned random branches and overgrown Cornish lanes!

Cheers Westville,

Sadly the Fl1 and Fl2 mirrors are not interchangeable (hence the price and the relative frequency with they appear), the other compatibility issue is between the 2007 - early 2009 and the late 09 onwards (I'm after the 07-09 one).

However, thanks for the thought and the reply,

try equicar 4x4 breakers, they are showing 7 or 8 FL2 in for breaking

Thank RogB,

Phoned Equicar on Tuesday - 'no mirrors' - it appears that they are the equivalent of the automotive holy grail...
Also subsequently called another 18 breakers - all of whom 'sorry chum'. So, on with the quest (just coming up to the 10 year megaservice, sunroof's gone belly up, mot's due, and now hunting the elusive mirror.... but still I love the "beast").

Cheers for info,

Richard

must be out of stock then as possibly because they are such big mirrors and people keep clanging them on bushes/walls/other vehicles Laughing

If its just the outer plastic casing that's cracked and/or the glass, could you just buy some mirror covers to cover the damage or replacement glass ??

I must confess if I get a little nervous when I need to get close to a hedge on the left side I do try and fold the mirrors in until im past the offending foliage.

Well, success! Managed to find one on "the bay" after an exhaustive search. Really helpful seller; mirror not cheap but half the new price and in as new condition. Fitted it today (thanks to the members of this site whose knowledge appears to know no bounds.) 25 minutes well spent. Now to attempt to avoid protuberances in hedges without turning into a middle of the road hogger!

Thanks for your help Freel2.
