I was charged £340 for my 2nd service + £10 to insure the courtesy car. Wasn't aware of the receptionsist offer, but will check next time it is in Whistle

2nd service, main dealer, 320 after negotiation plus 7 for insurance cover for the CC.

They are an independant, use genuine LR parts so doesnt invalidate warranty. Got one more LR dealer to try but if its anything over £320 im going to these guys.

sounds okay. There is always the arguement over LR main dealers stamp in the service booklet. I think I'll go with that until the vehicle is 3 years old, if I keep it that long, then an independant LR specialist.

Mines a lease vehicle so as long as the book is stamped they are not bothered. If it was my own I think for peace of mind I would go to LR but £500 for a service - they are taking the Censored

Just tried another Stratstone dealer and they have also quoted me £505!!! Shocked

Another, slightly further afield quoted £491 but will do it for £440 Confused

Despite getting my local dealer down to 320, I got a circular from Farnells at Market Raisen. Off the top of my head they quoted 249 first service, 349 second.
