Other auto dim mirror options?

Hi All,

1st post and new Freelander 2 owner. Read all the posts re changing manual rear view to auto dim and I have the plug in housing to do this but I have a question. Not too many F2 mirrors on ebay right now, so would a mirror from a similar age Disco 3 or RR Sport work? Surely they use the same part?

Advice appreciated

Cheers

You mean you've cut the plug off already or I'd need to?

Really only looking to do plug n play here as would like to keep it reversable.

Appreciate the offer though

I cut the socket off as the car did not have the plug under the head lining so just hard wired it with choc box connectors.
