Key unlocking presets ?

Hi, we could allways open all 5 doors on our Freelander with just 1 push of the unlock button on the fob but for some reason it now takes one push for the drivers door, a second push for the other doors, and then the tailgate button to open the back. I have tried to reprogram the fob as per the manual and can get all 4 doors to open together, but not the tailgate which still needs a separate push on its button still. Is the manual wrong or am I missing something here !

Keyless or docking fob ? Should be one press for drivers door and all doors to include tail gate on second press on a keyless if setup. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

Its an 09 model with the docking fob type key, like I said, the key used to open all 5 doors wth one push, now it doesn't. ?

Try this...

Lock the car with key fob then hold lock and unlock buttons for 3 seconds. Indicators will flash and you now have one press total access. Repeat procedure to revert to drivers door unlock alone.

Hi, tried all methods and the best I can get is one push on the open button which opens all four doors and petrol flap, but not the tailgate, which opens with its own button on the fob. Car is going in to my local Indy for a service soon I will see if they can throw any light on it. Thanks for the responses.

Let me know what they say because i have the same problem. I'm sure I could open the hatch previously, along with the other doors so somethings gone wrong.
