I think the FL2 diesels are all the same engine is it not just the fact some are given more output by adjusting the settings within the car engine settings (computer etc). FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

I believe the SD4 has a different turbo. Possibly injectors too. |

2008 will be a TD4 160 bhp engine.

the hse up to 2009 at least,are 160bhp I believe. and I might be wrong ,but I believe when you have switched cruise control off,then back on, the ecu increases the bhp to get back to set speed, or was that just the discovery 2? |

In Germany pre 2011 diesels are with 152 HP and dpf |

I think the 160 HP engine has no DPF and the 150 Hp diesel engine does have a the Diesel Particulate Filter. Freelander 2 HSE. Santorini Black. Roof Rack, Running Board, Auto. |

I see now that the engine is a TD4 and not a SD4 - I remembered wrong.

The 152 engine is the same as the 160 but with DPF, for whatever reason they detune it.
