New battery fitted and window regulator fault gone!!!!

Just replaced battery as it packed in on these cold mornings. As the Haynes manual said I reset all windows and sunroof by pressing the buttons to set open and closed position. Now the window regulator on the rear which would not close fully on its own is now working again.
Would a poor battery cause this??? Steve the newby

Probably not as it would affect all and more.
Could well be that that particular window needed a reset anyway before the battery renewal.

Did have twice hdc fault and when I looked it up it said first thing to check was the battery, well changed now as it only had 12.2v charge and only got to 12.8v when fully charged. See how it goes Steve the newby
