Hello guys,
after removing the manifold to replace the glow plugs, I noticed a diesel leak in the two centre inyector. A small pond of diesel forms at the bottom of those injectors.
I'll have the replacement part by next week (lr051528), and I've seen several posts here about replacing this pipe but I still have a couple of doubts:
- How do I remove the leaf off connector? It says I need to lift the centre... that's it... lift it until I hear a click?
- What about the other end, the one holding the valve that connects back to the fuel filter? How is this removed/deattached?

The injectors' connectors are released exactly as you've said.
As per the other end, there is a quick release connector just after the valve. Press the little green (I believe) tab and pull the valve out of the connector. The same style of connectors are on the fuel filter. It seems that you didn't look...

But the problem is not the pipe itself, but the o-rings in the injectors' connectors.
They are easy to replace and much cheaper.... You will see them as soon as you remove the injector leak off pipe connector.
If the new pipe will not come with new o-rings, you will still have the same problem.

Thank you Alex for all the info! Yes, you're right... it looks like I did not pay attention to the other end since it's an easy release as found on the fuel filter.
I hope this part comes with the orings, otherwise I bought something that I did not need!!!
I'll post the results on the weekend once I get the part and hopefully fix my issue.

after removing the leak-off connectors, I do not see any oring. In neither of the 4 connectors. I don't see them in the new part I ordered.
So, where should I see them? On the male connector of the injector?

If anybody can post a picture of where the oring is expected to be, that would be very useful!

It's on the neck of the injector's male connector.
It's a very small o-ring, approximately 3-4 mm in diameter.

Thanks as I looked at an on line manual and failed to pick it up.

What I found interesting though was that if you remove injectors it stipulated that you keep them upright and do not knock/tap/shake them, also keep to same pot.
