I must have US spec lights on mine then. I bought a pair on eBay, the "interim" facelift type with white stop light lenses & they had looms with the "side" light fitted. 🤔

Or you can just get your dealer to configure them that way. It's a standard option in the car's software.

It configures the normal rear lights to switch on with the front LEDs. If your lights are LED they are LED. If not, then normal bulbs. Ex AA Series III LWB Safari - Gone

It configures the REAR LAMPs ....... NOT ..... the Rear Side Marker Lamps ........ the two types of lamps are very different, whether it be Bulb or LED.

Ah sorry. I thought you just wanted front and rear running lights (DRLs front and rear, I think you said). Which as I wrote is a standard option. Never heard of "rear side marker lamps". Sorry. Ex AA Series III LWB Safari - Gone

I think I first muddied the water by calling them rear DRLs ......only to find later that they were called Rear side marker lamps.

The 5w lamp holders are in the same circuit as the tail lights. I left the bulbs out as I did not see the need for them in UK. Bob 10MY (Sept 09) TD4 HSE Auto in Stornoway Grey (Now Gone) 08 FL2 TD4 SE Manual in Rimini Red (Now Gone) |
