High pitched whine when locked

Any ideas what the high pitched whine is coming from the front of the car when parked up/locked? Thought it might be the Xenon lights but it happens in the day time when no lights are on...

Thanks! At least it's normal, can't say I've ever experienced such a pronounced noise like it on many previous cars though.

It's an age thing, my daughter's boyfriend recently came in saying that the car was making a high pitched whine after switch off. I could hardly hear it but I am nearly 40 years older. Big Cry 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

I used to have high pitched whine in one of my old cars... then I got divorced and the whine went away Very Happy
