Door seals and wheel arch trim

Hi. I've just bought a Freelander 2 after owning a Freelander 1 for 13 years. I bought my new car from a dealer and made sure all the major stuff was sorted, but managed to overlook some of the minor stuff. Today I spotted that the seal on the front passenger door has come away from the tape sticking it to the door - does simply glueing the seal back on work well? If so, what glue works best?

I also noticed that the wheel arch trims have all flared away from the metal edges. Is it easy to fit new ones or should I get them fitted professionally? I hasten to add that I am a very capable DIY-er, and am not overly bothered about damaging the occasional fingernail.....

Scotland 2009 Freelander 2 TD4_e HSE Manual Lago Grey

I would use clear silicone to hold the door seal in place. Halfords do it.

wheel arch rubbers easily renewed and can be purchased from Duckworths, as posts many times on the forum, do a search and you'll get some good info.

both jobs easily done diy.
