Nope ! The handle removal is all external 30 seconds with a plastic trim tool and about as long to put it back . All that stops 3 of your handles being nicked is the rear cap which locates on two plastic spring lugs !

Try doing a reset on your fob between single and multiple door locking.

I'm home now , the bonnet had been getting a little difficult to close for a while now. I had a good look and there are two bump stops no adjustable and each side of them is a bigger stop, black rubber with a sort of spiral cut around it . I screwed these in until the spiral had only one " thread " showing and " Bingo" it closes a lot easier

Definitely not driving round Bob it was locked when I left home , and locked as I was driving because I had guns and cartridges in the boot I would not have set off , when I stopped in Foulridge to buy some pork pies for lunch I locked the car no problem . I suspect that bouncing up the rutted lane that I took up to the shooting ground must have shook the bonnet open there were some big pot holes and I wasn't hanging about and had to go onto the verge a couple of times to give way. All I can assume is that the two u bolts were not fully engaged and a big bump disengaged them . As I said I've screwed the two big bumpstops in and the bonnet feels easier to close . Ask me sometime about running through a road block with booze in car in a big Toyota Land Cruiser, out ran several police cars for quite a few miles in and and around one big city in the Middle East. Not sure what would have happened if they had caught me but it wont have been all fun and skittles. Happy days
