2008 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Narvik Black

Glove Compartment catch/lock

I went to close the glove compartment earlier today, and found that the plastic 'claw' that locks onto the metal bracket has stopped working. I can move it freely by hand, but it doesn't work when using the lever.
I undid the three screws to remove the whole part but cannot get it off. Has anyone done this before?

Well, I had a 'poke' around with a screwdriver this morning, and it seems to have done the job.
