We spin down to friends near Grenoble to ski & snowboard, so decided it was worth spending the 8 Euros to apply on line for a magic sticker, in case we hopped into town.

The UK bit of the website had only just gone live at the time, so was still in French in places, but all worked out OK, and sticker arrived after about 10 days.

Also applies in a number of German cities. I did intend to apply a while back (different application system), but it seemed pretty complicated (and I speak German!) so in the end I didn't bother.
