Moving Aux Input

Ok. My darling children have a habit it of stepping on/kicking the cable when it is connected to the aux input at the rear of the centre console.

I've replaced the socket once and have had to fix the cable a few times too. Getting a bit sick of that.

Short of getting rid of the kids, which apparently isn't allowed, does anyone know if it is possible to move the aux input to say the glove box, or somehow connect a new input into the stereo itself?

I bought a phono cable from Amazon last year which promised to connect into the back of the FL2 midline (I think that's what I have, Alpine speakers in the doors, no dab or screen etc). The connector behind the head unit did not resemble that of the cable i was sent and seller couldn't help.

Cheers. FL2 TD4 GS 60 reg Facelift - so many issues
2019 DS. Terribly unreliable.
Sold DS for a 2021 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV. Fingers crossed....
Sold Outlander for a 2014 SD4 SE Tech because I’m mental
Now greatly regret selling the Outlander. MPG of the FL2 is atrocious and so are the fuel bills. Fun though 😎
Couldn’t afford the fuel bills so back to an older Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV. Significantly better than I remembered it to be…
