England 2008 Freelander 2 TD4 S Auto Santorini Black
Injector wiring loom

I removed the engine cover on my 2008 2.2TD4 today and found that one of the two wires that plugs into the injectors is exposed on two if the connections. Looks like the outer cover of the wire has worn away leaving the wire exposed😰

Engine runs fine but for how long! Anyone had this issue? LR state that it would require a new engine loom! I'm sure it could be repaired. Also seem to have a slight injector seal leak.

United Kingdom 2010 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto Stornoway Grey

My loom was attacked in the past by a hungry mouse. Luckily only damaged the outer covering. Loom wrapped with extra insulating tape at the next service at no cost. 👍 10MY (Sept 09) TD4 HSE Auto in Stornoway Grey (Now Gone)
