The owners regularly travel to this area to compete and hunt
Emma Buckles, head groom at Formby’s Rimmer’s livery yard in plea for return of her stolen dog, Jazz

A HORSEWOMAN has been left devastated after her dog was stolen along with a horsebox while she was hunting in Cheshire.
Emma Buckles, head groom at Rimmer s livery yard, is now offering a Ł1,000 reward for the safe return of Jazz, her beloved 18-month-old Border terrier.
She disappeared along with an eight-horse Ford Cargo lorry, left at the newcomers’ meet of the Cheshire Forest hunt at Peover Hall near Knutsford on Saturday, November 15.
There was one horse on the box when it was stolen, Jackson, but he was found wandering by the road half a mile away.
Emma explained: “Cheshire Forest were having a newcomers meet and we try and take some of the young helpers from the yard as a bit of a thank you.
“One of the riders came back to the box at 1.30pm, so we know it was still there then. But half an hour later it was gone.
“Because Jackson was left on the road he attracted attention fairly quickly, but there’s been no sign of Jazz anywhere. If she was released in the area she would’ve been found by now.”
The riders and horses were transported back to Formby by a friend who works in the area.
Emma has had Jazz since she was a six-week-old puppy, bred in Wales.
“I’m just devastated – there is absolutely no sign of her or the horsebox,” she said.
“She used to come everywhere with me and there was only me and her living in the house so it’s awfully quiet at the moment.
“We’ve put posters u p between the area where the lorry was taken and where the horse was found.
“We spent the weekend going around all the traveller sites asking for help and letting people know about the Ł1,000 reward for getting Jazz back.”
The lorry was a year old and belonged to the yard’s owner, Roger Rimmer.
It has an aluminium flat-sided body and a white cab and the registration number is Y393 KBA.
