Split air intake pipe?

Hi.
Noob so please don`t savage me....
I was hoping someone could cast some light on the following -
Took my 2010 FL2 XS into LR for its service / mot and all is good except that I have a split air intake pipe which is causing a small oil drip.
Now , my wife picked the car up so didn`t ask any specific questions other than `Will this cause some kind of catastrophic failure?` (ans. no) so I`m a bit in the dark as to where the actual pipe is and how it can possibly cost £200+ pounds to fix at the main dealer.

Any guidance would be most appreciated. Thumbs Up

Hi Steve, open the bonnet and take a look at the large pipe that runs along the the rear part of the engine, there is a clip to the left as you look at it, is there where the oil is leaking from, if so a common issue.

Have a read here as it may help

Thanks for that.
I think that`s pretty much what it is. I`ve taken a couple of pics . There`s a small weep where the jubilee clip is and a much more obvious one further along.
I`m still at a loss as to how it can cost over £200 to fix at a main dealer. I think I`ll
look for an independent.
