United Kingdom 2015 Freelander 2 SD4 SE Auto Orkney Grey
The Budget

Shock horror the self employed have been taken to the cleaners but hold on - the 9% levy on class 4 contributions on nett profit between c £8000 and £43,000 has been increased by 1% thus an increase of c £350 BUT class 2 contributions are coming to an end giving a saving of c £145 so a nett increase of just £200. I bet you would be hard or pressed to find many tradesmen let alone Uber drivers declaring £43,000 plus nett profit. My kleenex box remains firmly closed.

I'm sure there are some who play it straight but my experience is that certainly most folk working within a cash or potential cash business could make up this shortfall within a matter of days. MY 09 GS manual in Lago Grey, Wood Co arm rest and side bumper strips - now sold.

England 2015 Freelander 2 SD4 Metropolis LE Auto Loire Blue

Every budget we get this whatever the flavour of government. They do something, the opposition scream blue murder that someone will be worse off. Then the figures are provided that shows that shows someone somewhere will be £42.16 worse off over the year and that some other person will be £15.96 better off and its not fair. They never seem to realise that will always be the case, and that whatever you do it will affect different people in different ways. All this, he said, she said, they promised blah blah blah gets on my tits. All they need to do is fully enact the systems currently in place and block the multinationals from avoiding more tax than the rest of us put together. FL2 Metropolis, Loire Blue, ebony/ivory
