Audio folder search?

I have just brought a 2013 freelander XS. I'm loving it apart from one niggle. Is there a simple way to scroll through your music folders stored on your memory stick or phone without having to use the touch screen system? It wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't so slow Rolling Eyes On my previous golf there was a track & folder search button. It seems the landrover meridion system only has track skip function. I'm also confused to why it will only play certain MP3's!!!
Sorry if this topic has already been covered by a previous post.

United Kingdom 2013 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Firenze Red

Owned mine for 4 years and gave up after a couple of weeks.

Best I can do is use an IPOD on shuffle, seems to work.

Have fun. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years
FL2 MY13 TD4 GS Current

I can browse folders on mine, select A-Z and it gives me a list of folders, might need to use the ⤴️ Button to select folders rather than a list of tracks.
There is also something on here about the type of MP3, personally mine work ok, although admittedly it is a clunky system.
Tracks on phone, use Bluetooth and stream them, then you can use the phone system.
