Slat holes in facelift bumpers ?

I've seen a load of used facelift front bumpers on ebay recently with slat holes roughly where the Dynamic bodykit outer pieces would fit. I assumed at first it would be where a cheap replica kit had been attached, but I'd say 50% of bumpers that come up have these slats, and you wouldn't think there was that many kits around, let alone non-genuine ones.

Does anyone know if the holes are for a replica kit, the official dynamic kit (which I'd assumed did not need bumper cuts as per the HST kit), or something else?

Thanks...

United Kingdom 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Manual Stornoway Grey

All bumpers for factory fitted Dynamic kits had the slots for the bodykit to clip into place along side the double sided tape.

The Genuine Dynamic accessory kit is the same kit, but it purely bonded to standard Freelander bumpers without the clips.

The bodykits at Land Rover have two different part numbers, one for Dynamic and one for non Dynamic.

It's nothing to do with after market kits. Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Alpine DVD - Privacy -Evoque 20" Dynamic Wheels and more to come.........

Thanks for the info. As I'm about to buy a retrofit kit I'd better check which I'm ordering.

Thumbs Up
