The right hand side of the windscreen (looking from inside) in my 2007 FL2 has slowly developed a "milky line" with feathery edges over the last 2-3 years. It currently stretches from the edge for about 1cm into the screen.

I believe this may be a symptom of delimitation of the glass allowing moisture to enter between the two layers.

Is this something that I should be concerned about, at the moment it doesn't appear to be an issue, and I doubt whether anyone else would notice it?

If the screen did need replacement does anyone know how much this is likely to cost bearing in mind that I have the HSE model with a heated front windscreen?

Mines always had that I don't worry about it.

You are right, likely to be slight delamination at the edges. Not a problem unless it impedes you vision at MOT test time. Heated screens are ���� to buy. Best wait until you see a big flying rock coming towards you & claim on insurance. 😉

Claimed one due to that flying rock 2 years ago, �75 excess then but genuine LR heated screen was serious money.

This one has a rock mark again but not in my view for MOT failure so leaving it as when you change insurance its still to be declared as a claim (so far no loading). FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

heater working? mine packed up a couple of years ago, they don't seem too reliable.
