2010 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Auto Santorini Black

boot release only works of keyfob after battery been off.

Hi spent the last 2 days fitting my driving light pods.
All back together but the boot will now only open off the keyfob? Wont open by pressing the release button on the tailgate? Do i have to reset anything with the battery being diconnected?
