Denmark 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Manual Stornoway Grey

Safety wire was attached in a wrong place (on the right side), thus enabling the brakes (which you see in the picture) when I made a left turn.

Please note condition Z, when towing you need to change oil at 7500 miles, I realise you vaners dont have the van on all the time( although I sometimes suspect that Npinks does Wink ) but after a long towing trip your oil change surely must be brought forward somewhat ?.

I spoke with Land Rover direct about this, you should not need to bring your oil change forward unless you are towing a large percentage of the time in hot conditions.

The FL2 service schedule takes into account that many will tow. I was informed that if your doing the 'usual' trips away when towing, you will be fine as long as you keep an eye on your oil levels and top up accordingly.

Regarding software updates, some dealers do them automatically, but some don't, it is always worth mentioning in it when going in for a service.

During my last service a couple of weeks ago, I had the full software check and everything is up to date. Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Alpine DVD - Privacy -Evoque 20" Dynamic Wheels and more to come.........
