Too many anti caravan posts over the years to make this believable, if you take up this offer then ensure your caravan or whatever is fully insured for fire/theft/vandalism and crushing. Sooner ask the local travellers to look after it. |

We used to pay almost £500 per year based on length of caravan, boat or vehicle to be stored on a farm near Hertford. For that we got a completely hidden from view grass and mud field beside the farm house. Two secure gates to get through, one with an ear splitting siren with electronic combination lock and a bfo combination padlock and chain. Both combinations were changed yearly. The other gate, from the public highway and closed outside of normal working hours, into the farm could only be opened by dialling it up on your registered (to the gate) mobile phone. There was also a single tap and power socket on a single drained hardstanding for washing and hoovering / minor maintenance etc. Expensive undoubtedly but we always felt the caravan was very secure. |
