FL2 residuals

Just had a quick look on autotrader and surprised to see some pretty high asking prices. In fact looks like I'd probably lose less than £1000 if I sold my 09 HSE now after 2 years and adding another 10K miles. I can live with £4-500/year depreciation!

There is even a few for sale with similar mileage for more than I paid 2 years ago. Are second hand FL2s really making such strong money?

Just like the Disco 4, the residuals seem to be holding up very strongly.

I'd suggest that they are both affected by it being such a growing sector of the market, with a limited number of used cars and there being no direct new replacements for either. Even the intended replacements are so much more expensive than the outgoing cars that they are bound to inflate the price of good used examples.

In the two months that I've owned my 11 month old D4, the WBAC valuation is slightly higher than when I took delivery, despite the mileage having risen from 12,000 to 18,000.

What you will find that once the spring arrives 4x4 prices do nosedive but come Oct/Nov price rocket.
