12v socket cover thingy

Think I have managed to inadvertently vacuum and dispose of one of the two 12v socket covers from the middle console. Have had a look on ebay to see if there is anyone selling them but can't see anything. Does anyone know what they are called, or if you have bought one from a dealer, how much it cost?

Thanks

DT

call James' parts manager at CHPR he'll sort you them out cheap enough.

My dealer replaced one for free when it went walkabout, so they can't be that much

ps. MY09 have slightly different ones, black/silver and more modern looking Thumbs Up Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

They are exactly the same as in a Ford Focus (and probably a lot of other Fords as well) so if a Ford dealer is nearer you could pop into them.

Thanks for the replies, now for the dilemma! (New item to latest 09 design from a LR dealer or as per original from Ford dealer!)

Cheers

Go for the MY09 versions. They have a longer neck so slot into the plug better and don't flick out so easily.
When you find out how much they are, let me know - I need one. 07 Freelander 2 TD4SE Tambora Flame, side steps, privacy glass, mud flaps, boot liner and a tow bar. Ok it's the Wifes but she lets me drive it occasionally - if I've been good!

Went to Williams in Manchester today. They said the 09 version was no different and had just one (as per my originals) left at £0.56. It is now in its rightful place! Was surprised it was not more.
