Recently had the battery fail, every thing going berserk, wipers operating although turned off, lights flashing and alarms all over the place. After changing the battery I found that everything seems to have reset to factory defaults. First thing I would like to change back is the way the windows work. Previously if you pressed for them to go down they stopped about three inches down. If you held for a split second they went down all the way. They also did an auto close. Now they only do a full auto open.

Does any one know how to change this back to the previous function?

On most cars with elec windows after battery disconnect you hold the switch up, let the window go fully up, keep the switch held up for about 3 or 4 seconds. Repeat for window down. Repeat on all other windows. Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto

Power window up to hard stop, release switch, reapply and hold for 1 second (relay in door will click).
Lower window to stop, reapply and hold for one second.
