United Kingdom 2015 Freelander 2 SD4 SE Auto Orkney Grey
I would rather stick pins in my eyes.

Rather than me doing it an Ophthalmic surgeon did it. I underwent surgery to repair a hole in the macular of my right eye which was performed under local anaesthetic - not very pleasant and extremely scary but no pain. The worst part was having to lie absolutely still for about 45 minutes whilst he dug about inside the eye giving a running commentary to some trainee surgeons:omg:

Back next week for a further scan to make sure all is well. MY 09 GS manual in Lago Grey, Wood Co arm rest and side bumper strips - now sold.

Your braver than me. I had an operation on my left eye 5 years ago to prevent the onset of glaucoma. I had it done under GA.
